My job at the coffee shop is going really well at the moment- but I seem to be getting a lot of shifts and working extra hours (which isn't really a bad thing as I really need the money and it must show I'm good at the job). The staff are really nice and easy to get along with, which is great, and I'm beginning to get into a nice routine of working.
I've also been trained on everything except for food prep... which I'm not really looking forward to for two reasons- the first one being that I'm terrible with food; I couldn't cook to save my life. The second being my vegetarianism; I'm not sure I can stomach cooking and handling the meat products they use. That's not to say I'm anti-meateaters- it's just something I don't like the thought of.

Anyway, to stop prattling on about boring work stuff, I'm hopefully going to be posting a new story on here soon- I've managed to get the beginning sorted (which I consider to be one of the most important things to get right). Now that I know where I'm beginning I can get to work on the rest of story. It's a bit different to some of the other stories I've posted. It doesn't relate to waiting and it's more like the stories I used to write in school. I can give a clue, but I don't want to give too much away before I've posted it. It involves a dragon. That's all I'm saying.

I can't believe how fast this so called summer has gone even though we haven't really had a summer. Soon I'll be back in Uni for my final year of my course. It's quite unsettling to think that in a year I'll be teaching and that at the end of September I have my most important teaching practice- I get assessed very critically and I have to put tonnes of work in. But it'll all be worth it in the end!

I went to see a preview showing of The Final Destination in 3D last night- the 3D was good but I do not recommend it!
